One of the so-called ‘DC-3 replacement’ aircraft produced by the dutch Fokker company in the late 1950s onwards.
Powered by two Rolls-Royce Dart turbines, it was a popular aircraft for up to 36 passengers and/or freight. Chosen by EAA over the comparable HP Herald and Avro 748, it served the airline well from 1962 to it’s demise in 1977.
